Three accessories do ninety per cent of the work.
A liner separates your product from the board, which protects the product from a used interior and protects the board from your product. A cap protects the top edge, which is where nearly all forklift and weather damage begins. Corner board under banding stops the strap from cutting into the vertical edges, which is where stacking strength actually lives.
Together those three cost a few dollars per box and routinely turn a container that would have made one more trip into one that makes three. Every accessory we sell is chosen on that basis — does it extend a life, or is it decoration?

Specifying a liner
Six inputs, and the order they matter in.
Send us these and we will spec the liner. Send us a liner dimension and we will ask for these anyway, because the dimension is usually the part that is wrong.

What the material does to film
Abrasion decides gauge, not product value. Fine regrind tears 3 mil on discharge and leaves polyethylene fragments in the material — a far more expensive problem than the liner.

How it is filled
Gravity fill from height is gentle; auger and pneumatic fill are not. A fill head that contacts the liner needs a step up in gauge regardless of the product.

How it is discharged
Tipping stresses the whole liner at once. Bottom-spout discharge stresses one point. Vacuum barely stresses it at all. Each implies a different gauge.

The journey
Warm product on a cold trailer floor puts the dew point inside the container. A sealed liner solves it; a vented liner is for the opposite problem, where product needs to equilibrate.

The barrier requirement
Dust control, moisture barrier, light barrier, static dissipation or food-contact certification. These are five different films and only one of them is the cheap one.

The box's inside dimensions
Plus fill allowance, plus gussets so the corners are reachable. Send the box size; specifying gussets takes us thirty seconds and getting it wrong wastes corner volume every fill.

What each accessory is actually worth.
Measured across our own placed stock over two years. These are the reasons we push accessories harder than we push higher grades.
- Liner, 3–4 mil
- Lets you buy one grade lower (saves $4 – $5) and adds roughly two trips. Costs $1.40 – $2.20. The highest return in the catalogue.
- Telescoping cap
- Protects the top edge, where most weather and forklift damage begins. Adds one to two trips outdoors, near zero indoors.
- Corner board
- Prevents banding cutting the vertical edges — the edges that carry the whole stack. Pennies against a box.
- Slip sheet
- Stops moisture wicking off concrete and deck-board sag in one item. The cheapest thing on this page and the most ignored.
- Box clips
- Re-close flaps without tape, so the box can be opened and closed repeatedly without bench work.
- Dunnage bags
- Stop loads walking in transit. Prevents the shifted-load damage that arrives looking like somebody dropped the trailer.
